Lumina automates everything else.

Twinkle Tray is free. Windows has Night Light. Your monitor's OSD does the job. So why Lumina Control?

DDC-CI via the native Windows API, gamma via GDI32, laptop screen via WMI. Zero kernel driver, zero BSOD risk, clean uninstall in 2 clicks.
🖥️
All your screens, including laptop
DDC-CI for external monitors, WMI for the built-in panel. One panel, one interface — even mixed multi-monitor setups.
🔒
100% offline, lifetime licence
Local cryptographic key activation. No server, no account, no telemetry. Pay €4.80 once, use forever.
🖥️
Multi-monitor setups
Master/slave sync, automatic position detection (Left / Right / Primary), independent profile per screen.

Per-channel tone curve editor, ICC v2 export compatible with Lightroom, Photoshop and DaVinci Resolve.
🌙
Evening workers
Circadian mode locked to real sunrise/sunset for your city. Invisible transition every 500 ms.

⚙️
Power users
Per-app rules + window title (regex), hourly scheduling per profile, configurable global shortcuts.

Fully automated.
All in one place.

From circadian mode locked to real sunrise to per-app rules — every feature is there because it was truly missing elsewhere.

🌅
Circadian mode
Automatically syncs brightness and warm tint with your city's real sunrise and sunset. Invisible sine curve, no sudden jumps.
🎮
Auto gaming mode
Detects fullscreen and instantly applies your gaming preset. Automatic revert on exit. Also triggerable via Ctrl+Alt+G without alt-tabbing.
Schedule by time
Apply a named profile on a specific time range — e.g. "from 10 PM to 7 AM, switch to Cinema mode". Day-of-week and midnight crossing supported.
📋
Per-app rules
Each app gets its own profile. Detection by process name and window title (regex): VLC playing ≠ VLC paused.
🎯

Automatically dims inactive screens to keep your attention on the active window. Configurable delay from 0 to 5 seconds.
⌨️
Global shortcuts
Ctrl+Alt+↑↓ brightness, Ctrl+Alt+F Focus, Ctrl+Alt+G Gaming, Ctrl+Alt+N Night. Work from any application.

Far beyond the DDC-CI slider — a real per-channel tone curve editor with ICC v2 profile export. Your editing software and your screen, finally aligned.

Tone curves
R G B

Monotone cubic spline (Fritsch-Carlson 1980) — 5 control points

Per-channel tone curve editor
Click to add points, drag to adjust, right-click to remove. Fritsch-Carlson 1980 algorithm — guaranteed monotone, zero ringing.
🎨
ICC v2 export — Photoshop, Lightroom, Resolve
ICC v2 profile with D50-adapted sRGB primaries (Bradford) and your custom TRC curves. Import into your tools so display and editing stay consistent.
🔗
Non-destructive composition
Night mode, GPU gamma and warmth compose on top of your curves without ever overwriting them. Enable warm tint without redoing your calibration.
🖥
Automatic identification via EDID
Two-step resolution: GDI driver then EDID registry fallback. Lumina displays "LG ULTRAWIDE", not "Generic PnP Monitor".
📸
Photographers
Calibrate your monitor and export an ICC profile so Lightroom and Photoshop correctly interpret your colors when processing RAW files.
🎬
Videographers & colorists
S-curves on your monitoring panels to verify contrast and roll-off. ICC export aligns DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro with your actual display.
🎮
Streamers
Custom curves for accurate game image across both screens. Per-app rules automatically apply your settings as soon as OBS comes to the foreground.

Windows shows a warning?
That's normal.

Follow these 2 simple steps to install Lumina Control safely.

ℹ️
Windows SmartScreen flags software that doesn't have a code signing certificate — a certificate that costs several hundred euros per year, out of reach for an independent project at €4.80. Lumina Control's source code is available on GitHub: you can review how the application works before installing.

Frequently asked questions

Is my monitor compatible?
Lumina Control works with all monitors that support the DDC-CI protocol (the vast majority of modern desktop screens). Make sure DDC-CI is enabled in your monitor's OSD menu. Laptop built-in panels don't support DDC-CI, but Lumina Control controls them via the WMI backend for brightness. For all screens, the tone curve editor and GPU gamma work without DDC-CI.
Can I use it on multiple PCs?
The Pro licence allows installation on 2 machines simultaneously. If you change PC, contact support for a reactivation.
Does it work with HDR?
DDC-CI control is disabled by Windows when HDR is active on a monitor. Lumina Control then uses the GDI32 gamma LUT for tint and gamma adjustments, but DDC-CI brightness won't be available while HDR is on.
Is there a free trial?
No trial at the moment. If the software doesn't work correctly on your configuration within 7 days of purchase, contact support for a full refund.
What's the difference from Windows Night Light?
Windows Night Light is a software overlay that tints the screen orange. Lumina Control acts directly on the monitor firmware via DDC-CI: physical brightness actually decreases, reducing eye strain and power consumption. No overlay, no color degradation.
Does the curve editor work without DDC-CI?
Yes — tone curves and GPU gamma (SetDeviceGammaRamp) go through GDI32 and work on all screens, even without DDC-CI. ICC v2 profile export is also independent of DDC-CI. Only the R/G/B gains in the first tab require an active DDC-CI connection.
Can I import the ICC profile into Photoshop / Lightroom?
Yes. The ICC v2 profile generated by Lumina Control encodes D50-adapted sRGB primaries and your correction curves in the TRC tags. Import it into Photoshop (Edit → Color Settings) or set it as your screen profile in Windows settings so DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom and Premiere Pro recognize it automatically.
